BIOPA offers:

1. Complete delivery of fully automated transesterification units using the original patented technologies or know-how of these procedures for the cooperating producers.

2. Complete delivery of fully automated units for the treatment of glycerol phase up to the medicinal purity grade or know-how for the cooperating producers.

3. Analyses of raw materials (rape and sunflower oil, methanol, potassium hydroxide), actual reaction mixture and products (MERO and GP). There are following determinations:

• Density and viscosity of MERO and GP at given temperature

• Neutralisation Number of MERO (by means of acidobasic indicator or potentiometrically)

• Concentration of methanol in MERO or GP (by means of GC)

• Concentration of unreacted rape oil in MERO (by means of GC and/or HPLC)

• Concentration of glycerol in GP (chemically and/or by means of HPLC)

• Total content of phosphorus in MERO after its mineralisation

• Content of potassium ions in MERO and/or GP (by means of flame photometry)

• Conradson`s Carbonisation Index (i.e. CCI 100%) of MERO

• Iodine and Ester Number of rape oil and/or MERO
